Some Thoughts On Letting The “Big 3″ Fail

A hot topic right now is the bailout of the Big 3 (General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler) automakers. Many people argue that if these auto giants were to declare bankruptcy, a massive wave of unemployment and loss of infrastructure will occur.
FALSE.
Does anyone fly anywhere these days? I do belive that Delta, Northwest, and Fronter are among the major airlines to delclare bankruptcy and continue operations.
It’s called free market captialism. Natural selection. If you can’t hack it, get out or reorganize and try again.
To fix the US automotive industry, we have to find a way to affort the retirements of all the previous workers, destroy the unions, and make better cars that foreigners. I know it isn’t that easy, but there is more than enough money at stake to make it a worthy cause.
